The Enchanted Boy was a Russian animated movie I came across randomly while searching for something to watch. I have been on this kick of watching Russian movies, so that’s how the whole thing came up. The story itself is actually a tale from Sweden. If I recall, this animated film is a 1950's piece. The story is about a boy named Nils (they spell it 3 different ways throughout the movie via the subtitles, so forgive me if it’s the wrong spelling). I have to admit that when I first saw the link and thumbnail to The Humpbacked Horse, I was expecting a really corny Russian cartoon. Wow, was I ever wrong. It was a little strange to see the subtitles in English rhyme, but that aside, it actually was a really beautiful piece. I was unaware just how popular of a tale this was. Thank you 2013.

Well another year has come and gone. 2013 was an amazing year. I've made many new friends and lost others. Meeting !Lourwind (https://www.deviantart.com/lourwind) in person is the best memory I will ever have. I will cherish it all the rest of my days. The worst memory was the loss of my beloved four-legged furry baby, Cisco. I am kind of not looking forward to 2014 but it will come without my consent. We just have to do the best we can with what we are given to work with. Thank you all for being my friend. *raises glass* May the new year bring all the best life has to offer. Cheers!!

Not doing too well.....

Yesterday, my cat Cisco, started throwing up, just about all day. Found him this morning, panting, barely able to breathe, and unable to walk. Had to rush him to the vet. A few tests were run and he developed a blood clot which moved and caused all the other problems. The vet said there was very little chance for a recovery so had no choice but to put him to sleep. He was 15 years old and had a full and happy life.  RIP Cisco. You will very greatly missed.
